After working with this lesson, the student should understand:

How to use the programs Microsoft Explorer and My Computer
The basic folder structure of the computer
The concepts folder, file and file path
How to examine a folder and its content

 

The student should be able to:

Create, move, copy, rename and delete folders and folder structures
Move, copy, delete, rename and opening files
Find folders and files
Make backup copies of folders and files on a diskette

The exercise 7 has many possible solutions. Go through it yourself and find your solution, and ask the students to explain their solution to you. If there are more than two students working on this session, they might as well explain solutions to each other.
