DOORS - "RECIPE" 

Every time students enter a new door we recommend that they follow these steps through the work:

 

view the introduction material e.g. the what/why/how statements. 

print out the skills list

study the instructions 

work on the exercises alone or with a partner

use online chat or web-board to share their work with the others in the group in the show and share corner

work with fellow students to confirm their skills, either formally, with the skills checklists in the word-processing sessions, or informally by sharing their gains and successes with someone else in the group.
